Apprenticeship Wilkes Ceremony – InterFlex Group
On August 18, 2020, Wilkes County Schools held its 3rd Annual Apprenticeship signing ceremony. Four local high school students participated in the ceremony at the Stone Center in North Wilkesboro. Wayne Shepherd, Director of Career Technical Education for Wilkes County Schools, introduced each participant and said each student will receive hands-on training and a 100% tuition waiver at Wilkes Community College to complete the student’s program of study.
InterFlex Group joined in partnership with one of the local students, Helen Huezo. Helen accepted an apprenticeship with InterFlex Group. InterFlex was represented at the event by Jon Whalen and Rich Voisinet. Huezo attended with her parents, Fernando and Morena Huezo.
