InterFlex Group Receives British Retail Consortium Certification (BRC) for Wisconsin Facility
In an effort to exceed customer quality needs and to meet global industry standards, The InterFlex Group announces the BRC certification of its Merrill, Wisconsin facility. BRC certification ensures a company’s products and services meet the requirements set out in the BRC Global Standard for packaging and packaging materials (Issue 5: July 2015).
According to Shane Miller, Continuous Improvement Manager for the InterFlex Group, “BRC Global Standards’ guarantee the standardization of quality, safety and operational criteria and ensure that manufacturers’ fulfill their legal obligations and provide protection for the end consumer.” The scope of the BRC audit covered the printing, lamination, slitting, pouching, and Innoloc of PE flexible packaging products for the food industry.
